Vessel Details:

The Athena 38 is an elegant catamaran from Fountaine Pajot and the carefully thought out design makes this cat very easy to maneuver, moor and anchor. With four double cabins and two heads, this cat is extremely popular with larger groups. Each cabin has a large double berth and have access to two spacious heads and showers located port and starboard. She has a sociable "galley up" layout which is well equipped for charter. Her powerful rig makes her a blast to sail and as you would expect she has acres of deck space. Sailacat's Athena 38 is available anywhere in the Bahamas December thru April, and cruises the Hamptons in New York during summer.

Most systems on this Cat have been customized and upgraded to ensure trouble free, comfortable cruising.

Crew Credentials: Sailacat is maintained by a dedicated team of licensed live aboard mariners with decades of professional sea service in both the educational and hospitality arena. The Yacht can be delivered to any port you desire in the Bahamas during winter season, December thru April by prior arrangement. In Summer, the Yacht is based in downtown Sag Harbor, in the heart of the Hamptons. Crew is happy to share local knowledge and make suggestions about  special places to visit and explore in either destination.  


Travel to Bahamas: Most guests will fly into Nassau Bahamas first and then take a short flight on Bahamas air to GGT, Georgetown Exuma. Morning flights from most US cities will have you aboard for happy hour. Once you've landed in GGT , a taxi will take you to town, where you will meet the Yacht.

Travel to Hamptons: The Hampton Jitney has direct bus service from New York City to Sag Harbor, and the Long Island Rail Road, LIRR, has service to Bridgehampton, a short taxi ride from the Yacht. Those driving may use 30 Bay Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963 as a destination address.
